Always an Original.

With much more than a decade of work in aerospace, defence and industrial engineering I was tasked with creating everything from specifications, contracts, proposals, renderings and drawings of every type. I was fortunate to have worked with, selected and qualified industries that had a role in the technology we were building. The electronics, optics, mechanical, manufacturing and building industries were all part of my varied experience. There is a good chance I have worked in, for or with a profession just like yours. I am not suggesting I am an expert in every trade or industry but I may be able to understand yours. Perhaps, even more importantly, I’ll know your customers, because I was one. Most serious businesses value time and limit risk above all else. I am always open to learning and new experiences but if I am not familiar with your needs or business I will not pretend to be. I will not waste your valuable time, or mine. After leaving the military/aerospace industry I pursued my other interests of art, advertising, media and architecture. I also dabbled in computers and networks. I did this primarily because the computer graphics I was interested in creating required a type of workstation that was outside financial reach of many so I built my own. This eventually led me to consulting, troubleshooting, building and repairing my employers PC systems. Most of the images below are architectural simply because it is the industry I was most recently employed in. As you may have surmised if you’ve explored the website, the documents, drawings images and graphics from my former employment in R&D would not be accessible or ever be in my hands. I don’t claim to be an architect or master builder but I am a solid designer and can communicate with just about any business.

TECHNICAL DRAWINGS/RENDERING PUBLICATIONS/PROPOSALS

The smattering of renders below are all created from 3D models I created. Most are a part of construction or renovation proposal. Others are from our soon to launch Shedwrights website. Shedwrights creates classic, heirloom quality, tiny studios, some portable, for businesses, crafters, vendors and artists. Anyone who does photo realistic rendering knows how much time it takes to achieve a passable rendering. None of these was intended to do more than as accurately and quickly as possible help the client in the decision process. Like analog gauges sometimes a “glance” is all you get and its all you need!
